Based on the Medium-Term Business Policy published in 2022, CARTA promotes initiatives in both business and management evolutions with a solid grounding in sustainability management.
As a result, we aim to turn our goal of “unleashing human potential and future possibilities by pursuing our aspirations for the future” into reality.
In January 2025, we carried out a review of materiality (key issues) to determine where our focus should be placed, taking into consideration the changing social environment and responses to new technologies, such as generative AI.
The review identified five areas—people, society, technology, governance, and environment. By actively engaging with these materialities, we contribute to a sustainable society.
At the same time, we aim for sustained growth, improved corporate value in the medium to long term, and increased stakeholder trust.
Chaired by the President and Representative Director, the Sustainability Committee was inaugurated and started operations in 2023.
In January 2025, I was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) to drive sustainability activities that are integrated with the management platform and the business.
The Sustainability Committee, where I serve as Chair, invites the President and Representative Director as well as board members in the CARTA Group, key managers at subsidiaries, and outside directors to act as advisors to put in place a company-wide sustainability management structure.
Focused on the newly established Office for the Promotion of Sustainability, we also draft and implement specific measures while providing information about the activity status of every project.
In a spirit of co-creation, we contribute to an evolving society and pave the way for a better future.
